This year sure is wild in terms of famous collaborations. Fortnite now has virtual concerts and giant Nickelodeon actress Ariana Grandes. So, I suppose it’s not all that crazy to think about Game of Thrones Background actor, Edward Christopher Sheeran being in Pokemon Go. Mister Sheeran certainly seems to be expanding his professional palette. Having starred as a background actor in Game of Thrones, sung a few shanties here and there proving he’s a very talented singer, and even collaborated with the hit new YouTube Shorts app.

That’s all we have. No explanation, no detail just a tease. So what exactly is Brigitte Jones’ Baby background actor Ed Sheeran doing in Pokemon GO? One would assume catching Pokemon, perhaps even fighting them bare-fisted but there is always a chance that this late in the game’s lifespan, Niantic want to switch up the formula. Perhaps we ourselves will be catching wild Ed Sheerans in the wild.

If mathematics enthusiast Edward Sheeran were to be caught in Pokemon Go, here’s what I think his stats and moveset would look like.

Ed Sheeran is a fire / normal type, he is resistant to bug, steel, fire, grass, ice, fairy and ghost. He is vulnerable to fighting, ground, rock and water.

The best moves for Ed Sheeran are  when attacking Pokémon in Gyms. This move combination has the highest total DPS and is also the best moveset for PVP battles.

Personally, I’m holing out hope for Ed Sheeran’s cover of the PokeRap. Either way, it’ll certainly be interesting to see what both Nianticf and Ed Sheeran have in store for us. When we know more details, we’ll let you know!
