Elite Dangerous Odyssey received update 10 recently which introduced a ton of new content. However, players started reporting bugs with the Galaxy and System Map functionality.
The developers have finally managed to fix the issues and you can now view the system map without experiencing any stutters or lag. The servers were taken down temporarily to deploy the fix and players should no longer experience the widely reported issues after the update.
What to Expect From Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Hotfix 10.02
The new update improves on the Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 10 that came out in January 2022. The major content update had glaring issues including a lot of performance issues for PC players. Some players reported a dip in frame rate whenever the Galaxy or System Map menus were opened. Loading Odyssey from the main menu also caused system crashes which upset players. Frontier Development has addressed the issue and hopefully, all of the issues have been ironed out.
