It might have only released last week, but Evil Dead The Game is currently tracking to sell a massive amount of copies. The action-horror Multiplayer game features the return of most of the main cast from both the original Evil Dead movies and Ash VS Evil Dead, such as Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar and Dana DaLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell.

The success of the game was discussed during Embracer Group’s Q4 Report presentation, with Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch stating that the game is tracking better than World War Z and has passed 500,000 individual sales. He also gave fans hope for a future by saying that the game is the “first in a new franchise”, implying that we could be seeing new content and possible even a sequel within the next few years. This will come as a joy to those who adored the cheesy Evil Dead movies and general franchise and can’t wait to see more, especially with potential new content coming this year based on the new movie.

Scoring Higher Than Dead By Daylight

The game is also currently scoring higher than Dead By Daylight was at launch according to the Q4 Report presentation, which is probably the closest competition the game has. The game is currently number five on the UK boxed charts, meaning that it is currently ahead of games like Minecraft (Switch) and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
