F1 2021 1.10 Update – Portimao

The home of the Portuguese Grand Prix is in F1 2021. The F1 2021 Portimao content update launches on September 13 at 10 BST, bringing with it a whole new circuit for your to race on. The Autodromo Internacional do Algarve’s (otherwise known as Portimao) inclusion in the game marks the very recent history it has made on F1. The Portimao circuit only joined the F1 racing league a year ago, and Lewis Hamilton recently made history on the circuit with his victory back in May. Bow players get to see the track for the first time on an F1 game.

The F1 2021 Portimao is available and is free to all players as long as they have downloaded the new update. The circuit is available in the Time Trial, Grand Prix, and Real Season Start modes. If you are part way through a season, you will be able to play the Portimao track so you can keep going and experience the track authentically. You can find more on the Portimao patch notes here.

F1 2021 1.10 – Aston Martin Safety Car Update

The Mercedes AMG is not the only safety car in F1 2021. The recent P2 2021 patch notes include the green Aston Martin Vantage at the following circuits:

  • Bahrain
  • Monaco
  • Canada
  • France
  • Great Britain
  • Netherlands
  • Singapore
  • Russia
  • Japan
  • Australia

Furthermore, the performance of the safety cars is now much better. The changes in the safety cars also come with a time trial leaderboard reset to reflect the new nature of the safety cars. Moreso, the F1 2021 patch notes detail very minor tweaks to handling to remove an unrealistic low-speed cornering mechanic in the game. You can read more on the Aston Martin update here.

The F1 2021 free trial includes the first two chapters of Braking Point or play the Monza Grand Prix as a driver for one of tour favorite brands. PC does not include the new free trial, but there is a discount on the game. You can find out if you can run F1 2021 here.
