We are fast approaching this week’s Fifa 22 Team of the Week for Week 19. We set our FIFA newshounds loose across the leagues to find any leaks and get their predictions and this is what they came up with.

FIFA 22 TOTW 19

Okay so let’s see who our experts predict this week. All of these guys had good games all around the world so we can expect any of them but where are we putting our money? Let’s have a look.

Kyle Walker-Peters

First up we have Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters who scored his first Premier League goal in the home draw with Manchester City, ending City’s 12-game winning streak. It was a pearler of a finish too so we would expect him to get his reward for all that work.

Marco Veratti & Sergio Ramos

Crossing the English Channel from Southampton to France we are predicting TOTW slots for Paris Saint Germain’s Marco Veratti and Sergio Ramos, who both scored in the 4-0 romp over Reims – it was Veratti’s first goal since 2019 and Ramos’ first for Paris. Both had influential games and either could get the nod.

Ruben Neves

A late winner for Wolves scored by Ruben Neves won’t be what the win over Brentford is remembered for – concussion subs, the Brentford manager’s red card, and a near 20 minute delay as a drone was flown over the stadium by somebody all added the mayhem but there’s no getting away from the quality of Neves throughout and he was richly rewarded with his winner.

Donyell Malen

donyell malen

Dutch striker Malen may not be a household name but around the parts of Borussia Dortmund, he is fast achieving legendary status. Malen had the game of his life at the weekend, providing three assists in a scintillating performance putting Hoffenheim to the sword. Of course, when you are upfront with Erling Haaland it makes the assist part easier because you know the goal part is going to come, but if this guy isn’t there this week we would be amazed.

Nabil Fekir

Real Betis’ Attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir is playing really well at the moment and the Frenchman bagged a brace of assists in the 4-1 victory over Espanyol. Fekir is already a decent card with is 87 DRI rating, so let’s see what happens if he makes the TOTW.

Thanks to our FIFA prediction team, Cillian and Jake for all their input this week.

When is FIFA TOTW released?

EA releases the new Team of the Week for FIFA 22 at 6 pm (GMT) every Wednesday and this week’s chosen players will be in packs for the next seven days.
