Jinx, the Loose Cannon, is a fan-favorite among LoL players due to her bubbly and volatile personality. Riot have played into this while making Arcane, a new Netflix series based on League of Legends lore, in which a lot of the story will seemingly be based around Jinx and her sister, Vi. So, with this hot news already involving Netflix and Riot Games, it was only a matter of time before Epic got involved with a new Fortnite collaboration.

Fortnite gets involved in LoL Arcane release

It is currently still only in the leak stage at the moment, but many well-known Fortnite leakers are speculating that a Jinx Outfit will be one of a selection of League of Legends crossover items coming to Fortnite in conjunction with the release of Arcane.

This is a very believable leak, given Epic Games’ storied history of joining forces with figureheads of popular culture and new movie/TV blockbusters. Just in the last few weeks, Fortnite has seen collabs with the likes of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ariana Grande and Dune, with the likes of Naruto still spinning through the rumor mill.

Riot Games Netflix Show, Arcane

Arcane has come with the increasing desire of Netflix to get more heavily involved in the ever-growing gaming industry. Riot games had also expressed interest in expanding, and thus Arcane was borne. The animated series plays heavily into the attractive graphics of League of Legends which make it so popular, and looks to perfectly compliment the ever-growing team-based battle arena game. We have a more detailed look at what we can expect from Arcane here.

Fortnite x LoL release date

As this is technically still just speculation, there is currently no release date for the Jinx skin. However, an increasing number of sourcing are now revealing this information, and most Fortnite leaks that get this far end up being real. If this one proves to be as well, we can probably assume that it will be available alongside the Netflix and Twitch launch of Arcane on November 6th.

In the meantime, members of Amazon’s Prime Gaming might want to check out this month’s League of Legends rewards, which – at the time of writing – include 650 RP, a Skin Permanent worth 1350 RP, the adorable Happiness Overload emote and more.
