Fortnite Season 8 Trailer – New Fortnite Update Today!

Fortnite Season 8 is about to begin, with Season 7 chapter 2 concluding with the Operation Sky Fire live event. Towards the end of the live event, we saw the return of Kevin the cube. Much of Season 8 remains a mystery, however, we can expect a whole bunch of new content, possibly a few map changes, along with some new skins, and all that good stuff.

Fortnite Season 8 Trailer – Story

A new war takes shape, well the cubes back, and if you aren’t already aware, it was these that powered the mothership. They have begun to spread on the island, bringing corruption and portals to dark sideways.

This event brings the whole alien storyline to an end. It is possible that Operation Sky Fire will have an everlasting effect on the Fortnite island in Season 8, of which we saw parts of the Corny Complex rising into the sky.

Features:

When defeating cube monsters, you can open up sideways chests to acquire weapons from that world.  You will deal bonus damage by revving them to their super-powered state.

Fortnite Season 8 Release Date & Start Time

We believe the Season 8 update will go live today, if not already live at the time of writing this. Using the previous seasons as a guideline we have predicted Season 8 will commence at these dates and times:

• UK – 9 am (BST)
• Europe – 10 am (CEST)
• East Coast US – 4 am (EDT)
• West Coast US – 1 am (PDT)

There are lots of questions left unanswered with the whole storyline, most we think will be answered in Season 8!
