Here’s another round of games for you to enjoy over the weekend for completely free, in the latest entry in our weekly column bringing you freebies every week, Friday Freebies. We’ve got a couple of pretty interesting, but pretty different games featured this week.

Where The Water Tastes Like Wine

This is an artistic and minimalist RPG, free for a limited time on the Epic Game Store, about travelling around a unique looking world, and sharing stories. The voice talent is particularly notable, with the likes of Sting (yes that Sting), Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series), Cissy Jones (Firewatch), Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect), Sarah Elmaleh (Gone Home), Melissa Hutchison (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series), Elizabeth Maxwell (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild) and many others contributing their voices to various characters in the game. This might not be to everyone’s tastes, but when the price of entry is absolutely nothing, it’s worth a shot.

And then for a pretty serious change of pace, Railway Empire is a transport infrastructure simulator, where you’re tasked with building, maintaining, and expanding a rail network across varied environments and locations. Set in North America in the 1830s, you’re building the bloodlines across the new world. With a big emphasis on historical accuracy and expansive environments, you’ll be expanding your network to build trade routes, connecting manufacturers with customers, and making a tidy profit in the process. If you’re fond of relaxed games about transport infrastructures, this will probably be right up your street, or perhaps that should be “track”.

We’re cataloging gaming giveaways every Friday, to be sure to back in if you’re looking for something interesting to play without forking any of your hard-earned cash over.
