Galaxy Book2 Pro release announcement! Although we’ve unofficially known about the Galaxy Book2 Pro series for a while now, today marks the official announcement of the line by Samsung. The 2021 versions of these Samsung laptops were some of the best in the business, and we hope to be equally impressed by the 2022 range. Galaxy Book2 display improvements

The AMOLED 1080p display will come with an increased maximum brightness of 400 nits, going up to 500 nits for HDR content.

CPU & RAM improvements

The CPU options have been upgraded to the latest 12th gen Intel Core i7 and i5 CPUs with onboard Intel Iris X graphics (iGPUs). RAM has been improved to LPDDR5 standard and can now be specced up to 32GB if you’re willing to pay for it.

1080p camera

This has been a long time coming, but finally, the Galaxy Book2 will come with a nice 1080p camera of top-quality, rather than the 720p of the previous iteration which had inbuilt filters that hindered the overall image quality.

Galaxy Book2 connectivity

Connectivity is being pushed in a big way. In the most obvious sense, this includes 5G support and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Beyond this, the Galaxy Book Experience will guide you through the changes to the holistic Galaxy Ecosystem, which allows for better transfer of data from old to new devices (through Galaxy Book Smart Switch), interconnected control systems between devices (the Galaxy Tab S8 for instance) with the Galaxy Book2 through Samsung Multi Control. Improved Private Share and Quick Share features allow for faster and more seamless data/picture/document sharing between devices.
