Gears of War Coming to Fortnite Announced at TGA 2021
Even Gears of War cannot escape
It seems like nothing is going to stop Fortnite in its ongoing mission to be the place you can find every media franchise on the planet. It was announced by Epic, just before TGA 2021 that Xbox’s Gears of War will be coming to Fortnite, as the next franchise to get swallowed up inside of Fortnite‘s amorphous mass.
So far, we know that skins for series protagonists Marcus Fenix and Kait Diaz are going to be available right away. There’s also going to be some new quests, cool accessories like new gliders and pickaxes, and even a new knife-trick emote. You can get more details directly from Epic themselves. Either way, you can be sure this won’t be the last franchise to join the gaming behemoth. Only last month we saw rumors of The Matrix also becoming part of the Fortnite family.
