At the time of writing this, there isn’t any official release date for the Google Pixel 6. Luckily, Google is incredibly predictable when it comes to new product launches, rolling out their flagship options at roughly the same time year in year out.
If google is to stick with its current trend, we should expect to see the latest Google Pixel hits helves sometime in early October. One leaker (Max Weinbach) is also speculating similar events, saying that Google plans to unveil the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in October.
Remember though, if the chip shortage continues to ruin stock levels, you may be waiting sometime before being able to buy it.
Incase you missed it, here’s the Google Pixel 6 trailer – showcasing the Google Pixel 6 in the flesh, alongside some of the various colors it will be available in.
If you didn’t get a chance to see it, we’ve posted the trailer below:

During the Google Pixel launch live stream, one of the first pieces of information to be unveiled is the pricing for both google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. While initial estimations thought the Pixel 6 would retail for north of $800, that wasn’t the case. The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro seem incredibly well priced, especially when you consider the current market.
Furthermore, with both the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 both launching pre orders at around the same time – priced at $1,000 – $1,700 – it only gives the Google Pixel range more bang for your buck.
It’s safe to say that the Google Pixel 6 will be an incredibly powerful phone – classed as one of the company’s most impressive offerings. Alongside a tonne of new features, the Pixel 6 will also offer a new Tensor chip that will focus mainly on AI and machine learning improvements. Many of the phone’s new abilities will fall into the photography sector, with post-processing of images done automatically.
Furthermore, when in video mode, users will benefit from the AI auto-adjusting the picture to reduce artifacts like exposure.
