The Google Pixel 6A will be the successor to last year’s Pixel 5A, offering up the brand’s latest Tensor chip at a more budget-friendly price point. It sits beneath the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro – offering decent features but slightly parred down compared to the ‘full fat’ versions.

As per rumors, the Pixel 6A will offer up similar design traits as both the Pixel 5A and 6, including the characteristic camera bar that was hugely popular amongst fans of the phone.

Google Pixel 6A release date

Google Pixel 6A price

The Google Pixel 6A will hit shelves with a retail price of $449 / £399 / AU$ 749 – making it around $150 cheaper than the more premium Google Pixel 6 which launched last year for just shy of $600.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise as the Google Pixel 5A, the 6A’s predecessor, launched for the same price last year.

It also makes the middle-end of the price spectrum incredibly competitive, especially when considering just how many great phones reside in the $400-$500 spectrum.
