As we mentioned before, Camelcamelcamel says this is not the best price ever for this CPU. If you’re willing to wait for this CPU to drop as low as it has, you’ll save an extra $11. The thing is, we don’t know when that will happen, maybe around the holidays.
This is a fantastic value CPU, even at its current price. We think that (when paired with a decent AM5 motherboard) this could be a fantastic temporary CPU on the road to something bigger and better. Don’t rule out the budget CPUs; sometimes, they’re just stepping stones to bigger and better things. Opting for this one will get you on the current generation without wasting too much money later.
