Although there’s no new characters, what we have gotten instead is a whole lot of balance updates. Almost all characters have seen some kind of change, whether that’s a buff or a nerf. They’re all getting some kind of change, the majority of which are mostly buffs. Regardless of the character’s update, they will all – no doubt – benefit from the all-round updates to the mechanics.

One of the main changed come sin the form of adjustments to throws, throw techs, Roman Cancels, jumping attacks, Faultless Defense, projectiles and anti-airs. As you can see, there’s a whole lot that’s being changed, and might even change some character’s playstyle.

The Guilty Gear Strive update 1.10 is live on October 15th.

The patch notes have been released ahead of the Guilty Gear Strive 1.10 update. The update is set to launch on Friday, October 15th.

General fixes

One of the main fixes is that players will see a reduction in loading times once they start the game.

Pressing the triangle button in the main menu displays any tournaments open to entry and automatically matches players with their opponents during those tournaments.

Some projectile special moves have less recovery, making them easier to use in neutral.

Many characters can now deal more damage then before on Counter Hit. A bug where characters hit by a Counter during slowdown was later than intended has been fixed. The visual counter hit effect has also been adjusted.

Anti-air attacks have been buffed. Meaning it’ll be even easier to include special moves in your air combos. Included in this, successful throws no longer increase the Wall Break value.

Character changes

As previously mentioned, all the characters will be seeing a fairly big change to their playstyle. With new changes implemented to give a smoother and better playthrough. You can read more details about each characters’ changes here. In the meantime, here’s everything condensed down!
