Update – 16th August: Early Access is around the corner. With Madden 22’s release date a mere 4 days away, those who bought the MVP and Dynasty editions will be able to play early access from tonight!

You can now download the Madden 22 EA play 10-hour trial in preparation for playing it tomorrow! The best part of the trial is that you get access to all areas of the game rather than just certain bits, giving us a better insight into what we get when the game is fully released.

Madden 22 Trial Release Date & Time

August 12th (today) is when the trial can be downloaded, with it officially letting people play it tomorrow (13th). The Madden 22 EA Play demo will be a 10-hour trial, allowing you to play any mode you want but for a limited time, with the full game being released on August 20th.

How To Download Madden 22 EA Play Trial

For Madden 22’s early access trial you are going to need to subscribe to EA Play. Subscriptions can cost $4.99 a month or $29.99 for the year and occasionally there are free trials for EA Play, so keep an eye out for those.

Alternatively, you can subscribe for Play Pro, a more premium service for $14.99 a month or $99.99 for the year.

Once subscribed to EA play, sign in on your Xbox/ PlayStation, or PC and then go to the ‘Trails’ tab and select Madden 22.

On most platforms, you can probably see the download option for the trial on your main store page but make sure you’re downloading the trial and not the game if you have already pre-ordered a disc copy.

When subscribing to EA Play you can also take advantage of a 10% discount if you later decide to buy Madden 22.
