Praise Lord Gaben and his disciples, CounterStrike 2 has been announced, after months (years) of speculation. We all knew it was coming but things really started to heat up with month after a Richard Lewis article.

Now the cats out of the bag, many are wondering how to play CounterStrike 2, and other is some good news about that.

If you are an avid CSGO player, with a clean history and a reasonable amount of playing time, you have a good chance of getting to test out the new CSGO update.

How to play CounterStrike 2 beta

The CS2 limited playtest is here, with no exact date announced for the full game just yet. The limited test will be accessible to a select few based on some factors set by Valve. Recent playtime and a high trust factor are going to be key to getting yourself involved in this test.

If you are chosen for the test, you will receive a notification in the main menu of CSGO.

keep your eyes peeled and make sure you get yourself in a few servers over the coming months.

Do you need to download the CSGO update?

Yes, If you are selected to play, you will receive an invitation, you then need to select  “ENROLL” and begin your download.

When the download is complete launch CS:GO and select the “Limited Test” option to play the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test.
