In case you had your head in the sand the past couple of weeks, the Modern Warfare 2 beta is underway.
The PlayStation exclusive beta has finally come to a close, meaning we are now hours away from early access to the open beta.
For PC and Xbox players and pre ordered MW2, you can now pre-load the game but how do you use your MW2 beta code on Steam in the first place you ask?
It is actually pretty simple, see below.

How to use /activate Modern Warfare 2 Beta code on Steam
First things first, make sure you have redeemed your code over on Call of Duty’s website.
Once redeemed, copy your code displayed and head over to Steam.
Click on ‘Games‘, then ‘Activate a product on Steam‘, and click next until you reach the code-entering splash screen.
Enter your code in the box seen below, once redeemed the Modern Warfare 2 Beta will appear in your library.
Now you can head over to the Steam store page and pre-load the MW2 beta.
