The Huawei MatePad Air comes with an older chipset – the Snapdragon 888, which is weaker than the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 & Gen 2 processors, but still reasonably powerful.
The MatePad Air is a bit smaller than the MateBook E 2023, but has a higher resolution panel.

The Huawei MatePad Air price for the different variants has been confirmed as followed (though only the Chinese pricing as of yet):
- Huawei MatePad Air price (8GB RAM & 128GB storage): CNY 2,889 (~US$411)
- Huawei MatePad Air price (12GB RAM & 128GB storage & LTE modem): CNY 4,499 (~US$640)
Unfortunately neither a stylus nor keyboard is included with the purchase – you’ll have to buy these separately.
