The Huawei MatePad Air release date for Chinese markets was on the 18th May, 2023.
We don’t yet know when the Huawei MatePad Air global release date will be, but we estimate that some time in June, 2023 seems likely.

The Huawei MatePad Air comes with an older chipset – the Snapdragon 888, which is weaker than the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 & Gen 2 processors, but still reasonably powerful.
The MatePad Air is a bit smaller than the MateBook E 2023, but has a higher resolution panel.

The Huawei MatePad Air price for the different variants has been confirmed as followed (though only the Chinese pricing as of yet):
- Huawei MatePad Air price (8GB RAM & 128GB storage): CNY 2,889 (~US$411)
- Huawei MatePad Air price (12GB RAM & 128GB storage & LTE modem): CNY 4,499 (~US$640)
Unfortunately neither a stylus nor keyboard is included with the purchase – you’ll have to buy these separately.
