Intel 10th Generation Comet Lake Desktop CPUs Available For Pre-Order

If you’ve been watching the news as we have, you’ll no doubt have been keeping a close eye on the new Intel Comet Lake desktop series. The series officially launched recently, with details on each CPU available for speculation and comparison.

It looks like people will finally be able to pre-order these CPUs at major retail outlets across the world. This also gives us a chance to see the official prices and they’re not going to come cheap.

How Much Will The Comet Lake CPUs Cost?

Top of the list is the flagship Intel Core i9-10900K which is priced at a hefty $529.99 in the US.

Next on the list is the Core i7-10700K which is priced at $399.99 in the US, followed by the Core i5-10400 priced at $194.99.

A few listings have gone up in the UK on Scan too. The Core i9-10900K is priced at £529.99 and the i9-10900F is £519.98. Scan also has other Core i9 listings for you to take a look through if you want the best of the best.

Comet Lake Specifications

For a bit of a refresh of what you can expect with any of these CPUs, we’ve put together a quick rundown of the specifications.

The flagship Core i9-10900K comes with 10 cores and 20 threads, with a boost clock up to 5.3 GHz.

The Core i7-10700K has 8 cores, 16 threads and a boost of 5.1 GHz and the i7-10700 has the same core/thread count but a boost clock of just 4.8 GHz.

In the 6 cores and 12 threads group there’s the Core i5-10600K, the i5-10500, and the i5-10400 with boost clocks of 4.8 GHz, 4.5 GHz, and 4.3 GHz respectively.

The Core i3-10300 and the i3-10100 both have 4 cores, 8 threads but slightly different boost clocks of 4.4 GHz and 4.3 GHz.
