Intel just revealed its new Battlemage GPU lineup, which currently consists of two SKUs, the B570 and the B580. We’re focusing on the latter today, the less powerful of the two cards unveiled by Intel during their “Meet the Intel Arc B-Series” live event. With that in mind, let’s see what the B570 offers.

This GPU isn’t a direct successor to anything we saw in the Alchemist lineup, but that makes its value proposition all the better. If Intel is filling gaps in the market, then it is going to get sales. And It needs it, with CPU sales appearing to drop this quarter. If we were forced to give you a comparison, the closest to a predecessor this thing has is probably the A580. Better generations tend to compete with higher-end SKUs in the previous generation.
