With the biggest tech consumer event of the year almost upon us, you may be wondering whether CES 2023 is open to the public.

Unfortunately, as in previous years, CES is once again a trade-only event. This means that the Consumer Technology Association will not be allowing access to members of the public. To be eligible to attend the event you must be 18 and have an affiliation with the consumer technology industry.

CES 2023 kicks off on January 5th and will run until the 8th. Attendees of this year’s event will include over 300 of the fortune global 500 as well as 40 of the world’s top retailers.

Who can go to CES 2023?

The main draw of the event will as ever be the exhibitors, who will be showing off the latest and greatest that the tech industry has to offer. With 2200 exhibitors expected this year you can expect everything from monitors to motor cars. CES covers all facets of the tech industry and will undoubtedly be the arena in which companies are once again showing off their latest innovations.

Over 100,000 people are expected to attend CES 2023 in person. Other than exhibitors, there will also be a great deal of media in attendance. They’re the ones who will be covering all of the action, allowing the public exclusive insights into all the goings on.

The standard passes are for ‘industry attendees’ who just need a professional affiliation with tech to purchase a ticket. Industry Attendee registration comes with access to Great Minds sessions, select conference programming, keynote addresses, and the exhibit floor as well as full access to the CES Digital Venue.

With the CES Digital Venue, you can already preview the venue and start to organize your schedule for the event. During the event itself, you’ll be able to stream all of the keynotes, select conference sessions, and show floor videos. After the event, you can also use this feature to catch up on the streams that you may have missed during the weekend.
