As we reported yesterday the 6.01 patch for Endwalker, along with the first Raid are arriving today, and that we are also going to have a lengthy period of downtime. Let’s find out when we can expect to be back in the game
Final Fantasy XIV Server Status
The Final Fantasy XIV servers will be down today for approximately eight hours (all going well) so any attempts to get onto them during that time are going to be met with a firm door in the face. If you were feeling overly sarcastic you might suggest that eight hours is about the average wait time we have had in the queue to get into the game recently anyway. But we wouldn’t be so bold.

During the maintenance update, the game will definitely be down for around eight hours. You can check the server status on the Endwalker page here
When will Final Fantasy XOV be back online?
The devs will have hopefully completed maintenance by this time, according to their hopes and dreams.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.01 notes
The full patch notes have been released as to what we can expect when the game finally comes back online, but some of the choicier tidbits are as follows.
- The new raid dungeon Pandæmonium: Asphodelos has been added.
Rewards for the raid
Treasure coffers that appear upon completing Pandæmonium: Asphodelos will not yield gear, but instead yield tokens that can be traded for gear of your choosing. You can only receive one token per circle of Pandæmonium: Asphodelos each week. In the event you are awarded a token from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining tokens regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed.
Also note that there is no weekly restriction on entering Pandæmonium: Asphodelos.
* Reward eligibility will be reset every Tuesday at 12:00 a.m. (PST).
