Start working up an appetite ahead of the Isle of BIGsnax update revealed during October’s Playstation State of Play broadcast. Coming in “early 2022″, the new update serves up a buffet of new changes, including increased customization options, more mouth-watering minibeasts, and new living quarters!
What is the Isle of BIGsnax update for Bugsnax?
The Isle of BIGsnax is a new update in which we are introduced to an exciting new island habitat for humongous Bugsnax. Not only is there a new biome to explore, but there will be changes to the familiar surroundings of Snaktooth Island as well.
A place to call home
Whether you’re logging back into Bugsnax or visiting Snaxburg for the first time, you’ll now find you have your very own hut. From the mailbox outside your new digs, you’ll be able to collect over 100 challenges in order to earn furniture and other decorative items to make your house feel like home.
Bugsnax customization options
In another move to more unique gameplay, you can now adorn your Bugsnax captives in new Bughats. Dressing up Bugsnax makes them so cute we could just eat them up…
New game mechanics
Over on the appropriately named Isle of BIGsnax, it’s time to tackle a bellyful of giant bugs. The introduction of these new, scrumptiously sizable critters means a whole host of new game mechanics to get to grips with. One of these is Shrink Spice, which is a necessity for catching Bugsnax as it shrinks them down to a more manageable size.
Bugsnax update release date
We’re ready to sink our teeth into the Isle of BIGsnax update right now, but we’re going to have to wait a little longer before we can. There is no official announcement of when the update will be released yet, other than “early 2022.”
We’re happy to wait a little longer, though, as Bugsnax hasn’t even been out for a year yet. Nevertheless, Young Horses are already keen to ensure that players want to come back for seconds.
