AMD may have just dropped the X3D release date on Linkedin with Senior VP, Jack Huynh, posting a little teaser video to the site.
Senior VP at AMD, Jack Huynh, has potentially announced the release date of the Ryzen 9000X3D release date, although the post doesn’t specify the 9800X3D, it’s safe to say that it’s pretty obvious. Earlier rumors suggested that the other X3D CPUs in the series won’t launch until next year, but this could indicate otherwise.

Jack Huynh has just posted a Video on Linkedin with the tagline “Legends are written by those who dare to be bold. Hello, next-gen X3D” followed by the date: 11:07:24.

The AMD 9800X3D is probably one of the most highly anticipated CPUs of the year, next to Intel’s Core Ultra CPUs. It was originally rumored that AMD was going to make an official announcement a day after the launch of the Intel processors, but it looks like AMD wants to stake the spotlight off Intel.

The latest leaks show that the 9800X3D is being listed for a higher-than-expected price, we were expecting an MSRP somewhere in the region of $449 (the same price that the 7800X3D retailed for). However, we were met with much higher prices in the region of $520 – these are just preliminary listings with no pre-order availability, so there’s no reason to suspect they’re selling at these prices pre-announcement.
Happy birthday Lisa Su
As it turns out, November 7th is special for more than one reason. It turns out to be Lisa Su’s birthday. So if you’re invited to her party, you might just be getting a 9800X3D in your party favour.
All jokes aside, releasing one of the world’s most highly anticipated CPUs for your birthday is a pretty good way to celebrate. If you ask me, it serves as a nice way to celebrate how far X3D has come, and also how far Lisa Su has brought AMD since she took over as CEO in 2014.
Not long now to wait until we get to test the 9800X3D and all the performance that it’s going to bring.
