In what might seem like a rather late release, the CSGO Major stickers and viewer pass is finally released. The Paris Major 2023 starts on Monday 8th of May and one of the big parts of it is the stickers and viewer pass that come out for the event.
And so as Counter-Strike 2 release date looms for the summer, this will be the last CSGO Major as has been confirmed. With the next Valve-sponsored event is being confirmed for March 2024 for the new CS2 updated game. But all that will change for this will seemingly be the name on the coin you can upgrade through the information.
This is also the time to support the teams. Being part of the major has meant they can have their stickers in the game. And 50% of the proceeds from buying those go to the teams. This is not an insignificant amount, as Valve confirmed in the year before its 10th birthday, teams made $70 million from the sales.
What does a CS:GO viewer pass do?
The CSGO viewer pass is there to let you participate in pick ems and earn a display coming for your profile, which can be upgraded. Along with the ability to earn souvenir packages and the ability to use a team flair and graffiti to use throughout the Paris Major.
There is the possibility of buying the viewer pass or viewer pass with three tokens. These tokens are what you can exchange for souvenirs, which obviously you can buy more coins or earn more with challenges so you can get more of the souvenirs for the matches you want.
How does CSGO pick ’em work?
So along with the viewer pass, you get access to the CSGO pick ’em. This allows you to predict which teams are going to make it through the current tournament stage. Succeeding in this will give you more souvenir coins when your coin also gets upgraded.
The coin is a display item for your CSGO profile and so upgrading it will give it a better look and show off your knowledge. It will also be the last time you can get a CSGO coin before the game changes to CS2.
