What we like about the Alienware 34-inch curved gaming monitor
This monitor is an excellent mid-range option that gives you everything you need in terms of picture quality, performance, and design. It’s the type of monitor that doesn’t go all-in on panel technology, so you’re not getting OLED here, but it does have features that compliment gaming very nicely.
You’ve got a high-refresh rate, a wide, but not too wide screen for more immersion, decent WQHD resolution, and it’s actually pretty bright too. And don’t forget that it looks incredible from a design perspective.
Ideal sizing for 1440p: At 34-inches, this monitor makes the most out of the resolution, so expect it to still looks sharp and detailed, despite not being 4K.
Good refresh rate: For most ‘mid-level’ gaming PCs, 180hz is more than enough. Pair this with a good GPU for 1440p and you’re sorted.
DisplayHDR 400 certified: A big win and not always the norm. Means that this monitor has excellent contrast, can hit at least 400 nits of brightness, and has a wide color gamut.
Immersive curve: 1500R is one of the most subtle curves, but it still draws you in to the action. It also makes it more versatile for other usages.
Good level of adaptive sync: This has FreeSync Premium, which is the mid-tier offering of the technology. It will drastically reduce screen tearing.
Signature design: This is a monitor that both performs and looks the part.

Who’s this monitor deal for?
Personally, I’d say go for this if you’re sticking to a budget, but absolutely love the Alienware design aesthetic. It’s a wallet-friendly option in many ways, and a good call if you’re sticking in the mid-range with budgets.
An upgrade on this would be one of its many OLED and QD-OLED options, but expect to pay closer to $700 and above in that case. They are sometimes on sale, so be sure to keep an eye out.
