LG C2 OLED price leak may worry bargain hunters
Prices for the hugely anticipated LG C2 start to emerge

The long wait for the LG C2 official pricing and availability is over, with LG Germany announcing Euro prices for not only the C2, but the entirety of the 2022 OLED TV lineup.
And to make things even more confusing, early pre-order prices from John Lewis – which posted both the 42-inch and 48-inch C2 at the same price – are not being mirrored by European pricing.
How much will the LG C2 cost?
According to ‘Area DVD‘, LG Germany has listed prices for the A2, B2, C2, G2, and Z2 models – with some shock prices found on some of the more popular variations.

As you can see from the prices, on average, the new 2022 OLED TVs will be more expensive than the original 2021 prices. This is likely due to a vast improvement on the internal technology found in the latest OLED TV lineup.
The biggest improvement over the original C1 Series will be the utilization of Evo OLED technology in the 55″ variants and above. Speaking on the C2, many people are starting to query the initial pre-order prices at the UK store John Lewis – which saw both the C2 42-inch and 48-inch models priced identically.
EU prices for the same models doesn’t seem to match the UK pricing, with the C2 42 costing around 150 Euros less.
On a more positive note, the more expensive 83-inch 4K OLED and 77-inch 8K OLED TVs will see a price reduction in Europe. Whether this has anything to do with the arrival of imminent Samsung QD-OLED TVs is yet to be known.
LG 2022 OLED TV availability
As far as a release dates are concerned, users can expect the B2 and C2 models to start shipping from March 2022. The LG G2 is set to become available starting around April time – earlier than we initially expected.
We still don’t have any concrete updates on the A2 and Z2 TV lineups, however, sometime during spring seems to be the most likely.
