Update – 19/08/2021 – Madden 22 update 1.003 live

A few Madden 22 players have been experiencing bugs, not only with the trial version of the game but the full release during early access too. It was being reported that some console players’ 10-hour trial was just disappearing before being fully used and then we heard reports that some hadn’t received their pre order bonus items yet. Well, EA has been working behind the scenes to nip these issues in the bud and make sure the game launch on the 10th of August is a success and that means there is a small Madden 22 update.

Madden 22 Update 1.002 Patch Notes

We will be updating this with the patch notes if and when EA makes them live. The update arrived last night and comes off the back of an EA Play announcement stating – “EA Play members on Xbox: To ensure you receive your full Madden NFL 22 Early Access Trial experience, we will be extending the trial for Xbox players. Full-timing and details here: go.ea.com/Kn4g8

The Trial has been extended for Xbox players to make up for lost time but it is also being rolled out on PS5 too, meaning there are possibly other bug fixes in the mix.

The 1.002 update is around 1.5GB in size and is currently being rolled out. It is unknown, however, very likely this recent update will also roll out and automatically download when the game is fully launched on August 20th.
