Microsoft reveal Xbox Forza 5 controller at Xbox Gamescom show

Microsoft has unveiled a brand new limited edition Xbox Forza controller during the Xbox Gamescom stream. The new controller is limited edition and available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store. If you want the controller, be sure to act fast as limited edition normally means limited stock.

The Xbox Gamescom showcase featured lots of tidbits and other news worth stories on all things Xbox. But the grand finale of the broadcast was entirely dedicated to Forza Horizon 5, which is due to release on November 9. While we got a front cover and new car reveals, we did get a look at the new Forza Horizon Xbox controller.

The new controller is a celebration of the game’s launch. The controller is heavily themed on the game’s setting in Mexico. There are bright yellow, orange and blues synonymous with Mexicos vibrant festivals and terrain.

The current RRP of the controller is $74.99 USD, which is not that expensive for a limited edition wireless controller. For UK consumers, you can grab one of these controllers for £59.99, with Canadians getting it for $89.99 Canadian dollars, with Europeans grabbing it for €64.99.

The Xbox Forza controller news is alongside the reveal of some of Forza’s new maps. The developers confirmed that there is a race track set around the Grand Caldero Volcano. The Volcano is the highest peak ever seen in the Forza Horizon game while demoing some o Mexico’s Baja California’s sunny beaches. We got to see these points in the game using the It also showed off the two cars from the cover, the Mercedes AMG One, and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands.

Forza Horizon 5 releases on November 9, with your Forza Xbox controller arriving at a similar time.
