Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is rapidly approaching it’s conclusion, and as always we have seen several teases, leaks and reveals about what will be included in the next big content update. This time is always the most exciting for Fortnite players, as they scramble to learn everything they can ahead of time. Last night, it was revealed that Naruto is going to be in the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass.
Who is this Naruto character coming to Fortnite Season 8?
Naruto is the titular character of the popular Shonen Jump manga by Masashi Kishimoto. He is a young ninja that was initially treated as an outcast by Konoha Village due to the mythical Nine Tailed Fox beast sealed inside of his body, until he proved himself to be a hero that could be depended upon.
The series released for 72 volumes between 1999 and 2014 and was adapted into an animated television series that ran for 720 episodes. A sequel is currently being released both in Weekly Shonen Jump and on Japanese television called Boruto: Naruto Next Generation. It tells the story of Naruto’s son.
How do we know Naruto is coming to Fortnite Season 8?
Fortnite insider @qCandywing told people on his Twitch channel that Naruto would be in Fortnite Season 8 and would come alongside a Mythic Explosive Kunai item. He said he had permission to share the information from Epic Games Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard himself. Mustard confirmed on his own Twitter account that the two had indeed met and talked about the upcoming season, telling the young man not to spoil too much.

Well known Fortnite leaker and data miner @HYPEX also confirmed that he had seen evidence of Naruto in the game data as early as Chapter 2 Season 5, but the skin had not yet been completed.
What else do we currently know about Fortnite Season 8?
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 will start on September 12, 2021. It will feature new character skins, wrap items, harvesting tools, back blings, weapons, a new Battle Pass and several changes to the Battle Royale island map.
