The MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 not only packs a incredible 500hz refresh rate, but takes burn-in protection even further than ever before.
Real-Time Human Detection
QD-OLED monitors now have a host of life-span extending features, largely around protecting from burn-in. MSI is going one step further, and adding a new feature to its OLED Care 2.0 System, which has features like taskbar detection, pixel shift, and multi-logo detection to greatly reduce chances of burn-in.
The 271QR QD-OLED X50 is set to feature an ‘AI Care Sensor’ that allows for “real-time human detection, dynamically adjusting settings to protect the monitor and boost efficiency,” says MSI.
One of the results of this new feature is that the screen will automatically power off if it senses there’s no one there to view it. That’s a great way to reduce any chances of burn-in, and save you some worry should you need to step away from your desk for extended periods of time.
