NHL 22 is set to receive an update on 27th January which will bring a number of changes for all platforms. The update will introduce playable IIHF Women’s national teams for the first time ever. The IIHF’s men’s teams featured in the world championship will also be added to the game with the update.

What’s new in NHL 22 Update 1.32?

Starting on Thursday, you’ll be able to take some of your favorite Men’s and Women’s IIHF teams through an authentic World Championship experience. The Men’s and Women’s IIHF World Championship teams will also be available in Play Now, Online Versus, Threes Now, and Offline/Online Shootouts.

On top of that, there are various improvements and bug fixes across NHL 22 arriving as part of the January patch. Here are some of the highlights of the upcoming patch. 

  • Added additional content into WoC for upcoming Chel challenges
  • Added Kraken 32 banner to Seattle Kraken’s Climate Pledge Arena
  • International ruleset game style tuning
  • Fixed an issue where clubs info would be shown during the loading screen for Drop-in games
