Though we have seen better prices this year, we think this CPU could be due to a huge drop in price around the holidays. It is $265 right now, around $30 less than where it usually sits. If we go off the Camelcamelcamel graph, we can predict a big discount coming in the future. Though, we can’t say for sure.
This price is still a good deal, as we’ll likely see it shoot up to around $300 after the sale, but we think it’ll come down lower again for the holiday season.
