Up to $650 off Legion 5 laptops: Lenovo Legion deals

The Lenovo Legion 5 range is the main 15-inch gaming laptop produced by Lenovo. These particular machines come with 165Hz 1080p screens, AMD Ryzen 6000 series laptop CPUs, Nvidia 30-series graphics cards, and different DDR5 RAM and SSD size options. Although these laptops don’t have the higher-resolution displays, 16-inch screens, or metallic chassis of the Legion 5 Pros, nor quite as powerful GPUs (see below for deals on these) they are still very highly rated gaming laptops in the industry, and come at a cheaper price.

The Legion 5 laptop deal we’d recommend most is the Ryzen 7 6800H, RTX 3070 Ti, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD model available for $650 off.

Up to $580 off Legion 5i laptops: Lenovo Legion deals

The Lenovo Legion 5i series is essentially the same as the Lenovo Legion 5 range above, but differ in that they are all Intel 12th gen laptops, powered by Intel Alder Lake CPUs. Intel 12th gen CPUs are more powerful overall than their AMD counterparts, giving them a slight edge in gaming performance, however this comes at the expense of inferior battery life compared to the AMD Ryzen 6000 series laptops.

The Legion 5i deal we’d recommend in particular is the Intel i7-12700H, RTX 3070 Ti, 16GB DDR5, 2TB SSD model available for $580 off.

Up to $710 off Legion 5i Pro laptops: Lenovo Legion deals (Intel)

The Legion 5i Pro series is the most premium gaming laptop that Lenovo produce. Once again the ‘i’ in the name designated the use of Intel CPUs, and all those below come with Intel 12th gen processors. Each Pro laptop comes with a 16:10, 16-inch display with 1600p resolution, a partially metal chassis, and higher TGP Nvidia 30-series graphics cards than the regular Legion 5s and Legion 5is. Total Graphics Power (TGP) – essentially the number of Watts the graphics cards can draw upon. The Lenovo Legion Pro has the highest possible TGP for an RTX 3070 Ti, of 150W, so you’re guaranteed top-end gaming performance.

Indeed, the Intel Core i7-12700H, RTX 3070 Ti, 16GB DDR5, 2TB SSD option for $710 off is definitely the one we’d go for of the bunch.

Up to $560 off Legion 5 Pro laptops: Lenovo Legion deals (AMD)

Once again the Legion 5 Pro laptops are the most premium offerings that Lenovo do in terms of gaming laptops, and they’re some of the best you can buy from any brand on the market today. These AMD 6000 series laptops aren’t quite as powerful as their 5i Pro Intel 12th gen cousins, but they have a substantial edge when it comes to battery life (often lasting an additional couple of hours). Either way, the following laptops are still very potent gaming performers.

The deal on the Ryzen 7 6800H, RTX 3070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD model for $610 off is particularly good, though if you want something with a bit more power, the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX version is one of the most powerful AMD gaming laptops on the market.

Up to $480 off Legion Slim 7 & Slim 7i laptops: Lenovo Legion deals

The Legion Slim 7 and Legion Slim 7i is (as the name would suggest) a thinner and lighter version of the Legion 7 / Legion 7i. These laptops forgo the RGB strip found on the thicker models, have partially soldered-on (i.e. non-upgradable) RAM and slightly lower TGP graphics cards in order to reduce bulk and weight. This means gaming performance isn’t quite up there with the regular Legion 7 / 7is, but it does still come with a MUX Switch and performs decently. The Slims also have the additional feature of a full-sized SD card slot, which their larger cousins do not have, making these an ideal pick for content creators on the move who want to game as well.

Those who are less concerned about gaming may want to consider the 60Hz 4K display option below, for high-res media work and content creation.
