Developer Grinding Games released a new patch today which addresses some of the issues in the recently released Siege of the Atlas Expansion. In addition to bug fixes that address common issues in the game, Archnemesis Supporter Packs have also been added to the game. 

What’s New in Path of Exile Patch 1.98? 

Path of Exile update 1.98 offers support for the new Siege of the Atlas Expansion. The new endgame expansion contains new Atlas systems, pinnacle bosses, a new passive skill tree, Eldritch implicit endgame crafting, new unique items, the Archnemesis Challenge league, and much more. The patch seeks to address issues that were common in the new content update which includes custom filter sounds and audio in parts of the game not working as intended.

Here are the highlights of the new patch:

  • Added support for our upcoming Siege of the Atlas Expansion announcement and the new Archnemesis Supporter Packs.
  • Fixed a bug introduced in 3.16.3 where custom item filter sounds were not working correctly.
  • Fixed a bug introduced in 3.16.3 where some audio, such as the detonation sound of Expedition Remnants, was louder than intended.
