Discord has become the most commonly used messaging platforms among gamers. It’s the one place most PC gamers congregate. Whether it’s for texting among new communities or setting up your own servers where you and yours friends can all gather, Discord has become the new and most commonly used gaming accessory.

However, Discord is mainly targeted towards PC gamers. Although some users do tend to use it on their mobiles too. But this has lead to various players wondering if other platforms might see some use from Discord. And well, maybe! A Discord user was able to unlock the option to link their PlayStation account to Discord.

This might come as a surprise, but then again Discord and PlayStation did announce a partnership. Saying they would e integrating Discord with PSN in early 2022. This leak certainly seems to confirm this too. And it looks like this integration will be coming soon. If this is in the Discord backend now, then it’s likely going through the final phases of trial now. Making sure that Discord can both handle the new users as well as make sure that it works well with PlayStation consoles and users.
