The Twitch soap opera surrounding famous streamers continued. A couple of days ago we brought you news of JiDion’s permaban for abuse of Twitch star Pokimane, who has since tried to calm things down by calling JiDion a “misogynist incel”.

Anyway, it’s all kicked off again as mega-streamer Ninja is now involved after attempting to get involved by texting his own Twitch representative to see if anything could be done about the severity of JiDion’s ban. From what we have seen he did this with little no expectation of anything happening as “Twitch treats hate raids very harshly”

Where things seem to have escalated still further is when Pokimane accused Ninja of allying with JiDion to help him escape a ban.

That led thousands of Poikimane fans to jump on Ninja’s channel accusing him of helping a misogynist.

Are you bored yet?

Next, and this is the crux of it. Ninja sent Pokimane a Twitter DM saying she was “making a big mistake.” Now, this could be taken as Ninja saying to Pokimane (I can’t believe I am gracing this with my time!) that he in fact wasn’t doing this and she was mistaken. However, Pokimane seems to have taken it as a Soprano-Esque threat, shared the message, and intimated that Ninja was threatening her.

Read into this what you will, but it’s unfortunately not going away. The irritating thing is it is providing these people with further publicity, while at the same time setting opposing groups of fans against each other. We would suggest turning them all off and finding some lesser-known streamers who need your support more.

As we said originally in our article JiDion deserves his permaban in our opinion and it has been dealt with. Let’s get back to the games now/
