PowerColor Unveils Compact RX 5600 XT ITX 6 GB, Priced at $299

PowerColor has announced the brand new RX 5600 XT designed specifically for mini ITX builds. Dubbed the PowerColor RX 5600 XT ITX, the GPU aims to offer a similar small form factor solution as PowerColor’s RX 5700 with 1080p gaming performance.

Keeping to the small form factor, the PowerColor RX 5600 XT ITX measures in at a diminutive 175 mm in length so that it slots ideally into compact mini chassis builds without skimping on performance. The GPU isn’t what you’d call a marvel of aesthetics with a very functional all-compassing box design and style, but PowerColor has done well to shrink down the full RX 5600 XT to such a small, versatile size.

In terms of specifications, we are looking at 6GB of GDDR6, 2304 units, a base clock speed of 1355 MHz, a game clock speed of 1560 MHz, and a boost clock speed up to 1620 MHz. The memory clock is dialed into 14 GBps with a 192bit interface (that represents a claimed 16% increase from 288 GBps to 336 GBps over the standard reference RX 5600 XT) and PCIe 4.0 bus standard with an 8-pin PCIe power connector. PowerColor has fitted the RX 5600 XT ITX with a two-slot fan heatsink to keep the GPU nice and fresh.

The PowerColor RX 5600 XT ITX supports standard AMD Radeon enhancements, including Radeon Image Sharpening, FreeSync, HDR, TressFX, TrueAudio Next, FidelityFX, and support for VR. Alongside the GPU also supports OpenGL 4.6 and DirectX 12.

PowerColor says the card is available from today, May 12th, across a wide range of online retailers. The PowerColor RX 5600 XT ITX ships with a suggested retail price of $299 and will be available as part of AMD’s Raise the Game Bundle, where you can grab some games alongside the actual hardware.
