However, there are some caveats to this latest PS5 restock that you might want to take note of before you rush out to grab yourself one of these elusive consoles. It’s been a good while since the last in-store drop of Playstation 5 consoles, and you might want to try your luck at getting one, but there are a few hurdles to clear before you can be on your way to ensuring that you can secure a console of your own.

How to get the Gamestop PS5 restock

Gamestop will be restocking the PS5 on March 11, at 8AM PT or 11AM ET. However, you will need to be a GameStop Power Rewards Pro member in order to get it. You’ll need to sign up, and then you will have to check the store’s stock for the bundle in question to see if you’ll be able to cop a console of your own. You will then need to check out if there is any stock of the console near your local Gamestop, but the consoles are looking like they’re going to be extremely limited in every location that you might be looking, therefore it’s imperative that you keep checking your local store’s opening times to see if you are able to get your hands on the latest console from Sony.

In order to get yourself the best chance of nabbing yourself a PS5 console in the latest Gamestop restock, you’ll want to check out the individual stores stock, you might want to do this either by heading to their website here or by calling ahead to see how much stock is available at that location. Either way, getting the most amount of information possible is going to be key to ensuring that you can get yourself a Playstation 5 console to play the latest titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7.

This is just a guide on where you might be able to find yourself a console, as data for how many units each store actually has is few-and-far-between.

How long has it been since the last Gamestop PS5 restock?

It’s been 43 days since the last Gamestop PS5 restock. This shows you how rare it actually is to get yourself a brand-new keyboard, meaning that it’s actually significantly rarer than once thought, but with the gate of being only for Gamestop Power Rewards Pro, you might have to shell out a little bit more than you expect, considering the cost of the membership, in addition to the hefty bundle that Gamestop will be offering for this round of their Playstation 5 restocks.

While it has been a little while since the last Gamestop PS5 restock, you can rest assured that the availability of it has improved somewhat compared to the last time that we saw the PS5 in stock at Gamestop, which was limited to a few stores. With further availability, you might actually be in with a fighting chance at getting a restock of your own, and finally, get your hands on Sony’s brand-new console. But, while the consoles are indeed at more stores, the stock is spread pretty thin, so be prepared to get a full tank of gas to go off on your search for your PS5.

How much is the Gamestop PS5 restock bundle?

According to The Shortcut, there will be a bundle available for $795 USD, this will feature the Playstation 5 console itself, a, Dual controller charging station, $50 of Playstation Store credit, a HyperX Cloud gaming headset a copy of Horizon Forbidden West, and finally a copy of Gran Turismo 7.

At almost $800, this might be a bitter pill to swallow, especially when you consider that you will have to factor in the $14.99 cost of the Gamestop Power Up Pro Rewards membership for the year. This is a tad more expensive, but you will be able to get two brand-new titles in the form of Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7, so you will only be getting the best-of-the-best, instead of your usual bundle suspects like Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

the $50 credit for use on the Playstation Store is actually going to be incredibly useful, as you will be able to use it on things such as a PSN subscription, which will get you access to Playstation Plus, where you will be able to get multiple games for free every month, including a PS5 and PS4 game, as well as other discounts. In addition to this, you will be able to get yourself access to the Playstation Plus collection: A ‘Greatest hits’ of titles from the Playstation 4 that you can catch up on, just in case you’ve missed out on some of the best that the last console generation has to offer.

This restock is extremely limited

There will only be four to eight consoles available for this Playstation 5 restock at Gamestop, so you will need to be sure that your store is going to be carrying stock. The good news is that from the information that we can gather, more Gamestop stores will actually have the bundle available, which is good news if you’re in a city with multiple Gamestops, as you will be able to get yourself a Playstation 5 bundle if you are lucky enough to find a store that has some stock of the bundle.

Just be prepared today to do anything you possibly can when it comes to getting yourself a brand-new PS5, as you’re going ot have to work for it since the console still remains to be in such high demand. Do not resort to getting one scalped off of eBay, as it’s more than likely that it’s just not worth the cost. Instead, try to persist through the restocks to give yourself the best-possible chance of securing a console for yourself before they all inevitably sell out again. The bundle this time around is pretty good value, though you might want to also pick up one of those beefed-up Dualsense controllers in a snazzy new color, as there is no evidence yet that Sony has managed to change up the springs in the controller with new ones quite yet.
