Rainbow Six Siege is back with yet another free weekend. To celebrate the recent launch of the new R6 season, Crystal Guard, the Rainbow Six Siege free weekend is back from September 9-12.

How long is the Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend?

The Rainbow Six Siege free weekend is free from September 9-12. It allows you to play Rainbow Six Siege for free from Thursday through to Sunday, letting you get a taste of the new Crystal Guard features. The new patch features the newly released Osa (if you buy the battle pass or spend your hard-earned renown on Osa), IQ and Twitch changes, map reworks, and the new armor system.

What makes the news even better is that the Rainbow Six Siege is available for all platforms Siege is on. You should be able to download Rainbow Six Siege from your preferred platform, whether that is the PlayStation Network, Ubisoft Connect, or the Xbox / Microsoft Store. So, if you’re one of those wondering ‘is Rainbow Six Siege free on PS4’, the answer is yes. Alternatively, you can head over to the official Ubisoft website and follow its on-screen instructions. If you do follow the onscreen instructions from the R6 website, you should be able to preload the Rainbow Six Siege free weekend ahead of September 9.

If you don’t have the time to play the Rainbow Six Siege free to play weekend, you’ll be happy to know that there are multiple free weekends every year. They usually happen after a new season releases or during major in-game events like the Six Invitational. Depending on the event or promotion, they are typically every three to six months, with the last one happening in June (three months ago) for the previous season release. So, if you miss this one, you may get another chance sometime soon.
