Pivoting away from its habitual gaming stomping ground, prolific peripheral manufacturer Razer has launched a new line-up aimed firmly at productivity and the workspace environment. Razer teamed up with office ergonomics wizards Humanscale to push out a family of peripherals based ‘entirely on the latest human factors research.’

The Razer Productivity Suite consists of the Razer Pro Click mouse, Razer Pro Type keyboard, and Razer pro Glide mouse pad. A standardized aluminum silver and white color scheme runs across all three products, making them ideal peripherals for those looking to add a bit of classy aesthetic uniformity to their work setup. Indeed, Razer has put the usual garish, hit or miss ‘hardcore gamer’ design of its products to one side and opted for something entirely sleeker and more refined.

Proclick1

Marketed as a ‘high-precision ergonomic wireless mouse for productivity,’ the Razer Pro Click screams ergonomic comfort in looks alone. It features palm support, a thumb rest, a 45-degree tilt, and a curved top shell.

Precision comes to fore with a 16,000 DPI advanced optical sensor, 450 IPS, and 40G max acceleration, allied to customization options, including 8 independently programmable buttons to assign macros and secondary functions. Razer says the Pro Click’s mechanical switches can rack up 50 million clicks.

Users can expect to get up to 400 hours of use per charge connected to Bluetooth and up to 200 hours via 2.4 GHz wireless. Conveniently, the wireless dongle can be housed in a cavity on the Razer Pro Click’s underside, right next to a physical switch to jump between connectivity modes quickly. The Razor Pro Click also offers multi-host connectivity for up to four devices.

The Razer Pro Click retails for $99.99.

Protype1

Much like the Pro Click, the Razer Pro Type is all about a streamlined design that borders on minimalist with distinctive white adjustable LED-backlit keys complemented by an all-metal top cover.

The ABS plastic keycaps are topped with fingerprint-resistant, soft-touch coating for a comfortable yet tactile typing aided by near-silent Razer Orange mechanical switches running the show under each of them. Razer says they’ll ensure minimal disturbance to others in a working environment while granting the user a responsive typing experience.

Like the Pro Clock, the Pro Type features connectivity through Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless with up to four devices and a dongle cavity on the bottom of the keyboard. Battery life under wireless use isn’t quite as impressive as the mouse – 12 hours with the backlighting on, and 84 hours using Bluetooth/78 hours using 2.4 GHz wireless with the lighting off.

Other features include two kickstands, fully programmable keys, guaranteed 80 million keystrokes, a 2-meter detachable USB-C braided fiber cable, a 10-key rollover, and Razer Synapse 3 support.

The Razer Pro Type will set you back $139.99.

Proglide1

Wrapping up the Razer Productivity Suite line-up is the Razer Pro Glide mouse mat. This soft mouse mat features 3 mm thick, high-density rubber foam that allies comfort with durability.

The top surface consists of textured micro-weave cloth for smooth yet precise movement and accurate mouse tracking. The base features a rubberized, grip texture anti-slip layer to ensure a firm hold on all surfaces.

Dimensions-wise, the Razer Pro Glide tallies up to 360 mm x 275 mm x 3mm and is suited to most office settings. The Razor Pro Glide sells for $9.99.
