You know you are working from home when you find out about this sort of thing first from your 10-year-old rather than online. Kids are on the pulse.

Yep, the big news is Rocket League is down for pretty much everybody across all formats as far as we can tell with Twitter being awash with complaints.

Update: The problem may have been fixed now, although we have heard noting official.

Is Rocket League Down?

Well, yes it is.

There is no word from Epic Games or Psyonix at this stage, but we presume investigations are underway.

At the moment players are seeming to be able to get into the game itself but only Freeplay and Training maps work. The item shop, any kind of lobby or invite, or any other game mode just results in the message “Epic Servers are down, please try again in a couple of minutes.

Also, on training maps, you only seem to be able to play maps you have favorited, which suggests they must have saved some key information locally.

Also interestingly, anybody who seems to have logged into the game a couple of hours ago and stayed in are not reporting issues.

We will update this story as and we get news of the game’s return or predicted downtime.

Are all Epic Games down?

Good news for Fortnite players as that seems to be fine and despite the issue seeming to be with Epic’s servers, there are no reported problems elsewhere.
