Canada Deals The Secretlab Magnus is a largely metal desk, specifically steel, though it does also include some MDF components. The Magnus has a suberbly sleek look, having a somewhat sci-fi aesthetic, but in a refined fashion that would make it suitable for any home office or other office setting.
What makes this Secretlab desk relatively unique is its magnetic ecosystem, coming with black magnetic cable sheaths that stick to the legs and some nice red desktop magnetic cable anchors that clamp to the main surface of the desk, enabling you to tidy away your messy cables with ease. It should be noted that this cable management gear comes in a separate option bundle, meaning you don’t have to buy it all at once if you don’t want to.
Something that does come included is the cable management tray to the rear of the desk, which is ingeniously designed so that the lid of it hinges forwards, meaning you can put the desk fully flush to the wall without having to worry about damaging it every time you want to tidy away your cables in it.
The Magnus desk also comes with a MAGPAD desk mat, which (as the name would suggest) is a full-sized mouse mat, designed with this specific desk in mind, that magnetizes to the surface, meaning no slippage. The MAGPAD desk mat comes in various designs including Stealth (the standard, signature style), Team Secret, Dark Knight, Cloud9, Team Liquid, or Astralis.
