A brand new game from the director of Silent Hill was announced at TGA 2021. The game is known as Slitterhead and seems to feature a lot of Silent Hills classic charms. Those charms happen to include horrific monsters, terrified people, and oh so much body horror. Of course, the major difference this time is the setting.
Silent Hill was always supposed to be based in a nameless area of the USA, but Slitherhead seems to be taking place in metropolitan Japan. There also seems to be more than a little Junji Ito thrown into the mix, which can only mean good things.
It’s been years since the last full Silent Hill game, so if Slitterhead can capture the same spirit it’s going to make one hell of a splash. We can look forward to more details in the near future, but
