Skyrim Anniversary Edition Appears To Have Been Rated For Switch

In a shocking turn of events that nobody could have ever seen coming, Skyrim Anniversary Edition has been rated for Switch in Taiwan, creating speculation that a port could be incoming.

Well It’s Skyrim, Again

While the listing has been taken down by the Digital Game Rating Committee, possibly because they leaked something they weren’t supposed to, enough people saw the leak to make speculation on a Switch port rife. Skyrim Anniversary Edition added all the DLC, mods and a new fishing system to Skyrim, sparking the question of whether or not we’d ever actually be able to see the back of the game or if we’re stuck in an endless groundhog day of constant Skyrim rereleases, with only the promise of a new game in the series to stop us from completely and utterly losing our minds.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a game that Bethesda seemingly is cursed to release once a year or face the wrath of a god that they have annoyed. Skyrim has released on the following systems across the following releases:

• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PS3, PC, Xbox 360)
• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim- Legendary Edition (PS3, PC, Xbox 360)
• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim- Special Edition (PS4, PC, Xbox One, Switch)
• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR (PSVR)
• The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim- Anniversary Edition (PS5, Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S)

In addition to this Bethesda also released Skyrim: Very Special Edition on Amazon Alexa, a voice controlled (joke) version of the game, and gave you the ability to play Skyrim on your smart fridge (yes, you can play Skyrim instead of making food for yourself, thus starving yourself to death. But hey, at least you’ll be able to say you finally beat the game!)
