1047 Studios has put live the new Splitgate Season 1 patch, featuring new game modes, battle pass, and of course, the new custom map feature. The update is now love, and players have the chance to get into the latest season and check out all this content for themselves.
One of the biggest aspects of this Splitgate Season 1 content update is, of course, the map maker. The feature allows players to create and make their own maps, with players able to get their hands on it and give it a try. Moreso, you can co-create maps with up to eight players and make joint efforts to make a masterpiece. Players who give it a go can expect to play place down objects, weapons, spawn points walls, building blocks and other things. If you’re familiar with Halo’s forge feature, then you’ll no doubt become familiar with this feature almost instantly.
In addition, the game also has new content for those looking to slay enemies on. There is a new map called Foregone Destruction, which has been reimagined with new tiple A standards. 1047 games state this is an update that will set the standard of future map remakes now that 1047 studies have the power to make with the phenomenal funding over the summer of 2021. The bellow tweet shows you an example of the graphical quality that has gone into the map design, and that is with even a toaster being able to play the game.
For those who love grinding rewards, there is a new battle pass. The new battle pass is live right now, and you can start working your way through it. If you want to see a full rundown on the game, we recommend looking at the new Splitgate trailer that launched alongside the new update.
