When Is The Surface Go 3 Release Date?
We got our first look at the Surface Go 3 at the Microsoft Event on September 22, 2021.
This marked the official launch event for the Surface Go 3, and its other Microsoft Surface siblings.
The official Surface Go 3 release date was confirmed as October 5, 2021 (i.e. when you can actually buy the product). As predicted, this is the same date as the Windows 11 launch.
Surface Go 3 Specifications
Since the Microsoft Event 2021 we now know that the new Surface Go 3 will essentially be exactly the same as the old one, with one exception – the CPU. There will be two CPU options for the Surface Go 3: the entry-level coming with the Platinum Intel Pentium 6500Y, and the more advanced edition coming with the more powerful Platinum Intel Core i3-10100Y processor. The entry-level CPU comes with options for either 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and the more advanced version with 8GB of RAM.
Microsoft claims that this 10th Gen Intel processing, combined with the efficiencies of Windows 11, will make the new Surface Go 60% faster than before.
This fits the same pattern established by the Surface Go 2, which also had two CPU options.

The high-end Surface Go 3 costs $629.99 – this comes with an Intel Core i3-10100Y CPU, 8GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD
