Re-Logic launched the Journey’s End update for Terraria on all platforms recently and players ran into some game-breaking bugs. The developers issued fixes for Terraria for most platforms immediately but Nintendo Switch was left out. After a long wait, the bug fix patch is finally available for the portable console. Re-Logic has also issued some Switch-specific fixes to improve player experience.

What to Expect From the New Terraria Update for Nintendo Switch?

The latest patch for Terraria on Nintendo Switch is a combination of the overall console fixes originally pushed to PS and Xbox in December along with a few more Switch-specific issues that were addressed. Switch players can now control the sun and the moon on the frontend menu by holding ZR + right stick. Based on player feedback Re-Logic has fixed the Hotbar navigation when a Dynamic Hotbar item is bound to a Hotbar slot.

Here are the highlights of the new patch:

  • Fixed mannequins losing items when placed by the host and not being able to be seen by other players
  • Fixed an issue in multiplayer where an item was lost if held when a chest was closed
  • Fixed player 2+ in split-screen being immune to projectiles

The new update should fix a lot of the common issues faced by Switch players. To check out the full patch notes, click here.
