Warner Bros Multiversus has been the hot rumor of the week, making several surprise appearances on Reddit, 4chan and Twitter that have generally excited the Smash Bros fighter community.

The game, which is supposedly developed by NetherRealm (creators of Mortal Kombat) is a platforming party fighter that brings together characters from across the many different Warner Bros. owned universes and franchises to slap each other around.

According to the well-known Smash Bros. player hungrybox, Warner Bros Multiversus is Free-to-Play, has cross-platform multiplayer and will also have full voice acting for every character. The last two points were criticisms leveraged at the similar Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl both by players in general, and in our review of the game, so we’re pleased to hear that WB aren’t going to repeat the same mistakes.

Who is on the roster of Warner Bros Multiversus?

Warner Bros Multiversus Roster

Here is the current roster of characters that are in Warner Bros Multiversus, based on a leaked screenshot of the character selection screen that has been posted online.

  • An Unknown Green Monster (???)
  • Steven Universe (Steven Universe)
  • Batman (DC Comics)
  • Harley Quinn (DC Comics)
  • Finn (Adventure Time)
  • Jake (Adventure Time)
  • Shaggy (Scooby Doo)
  • Superman (DC Comics)
  • Wonder Woman (DC Comics)
  • Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
  • Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty)
  • Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes)
  • Tom and Jerry (Tom and Jerry)

We hope to see more characters announced in the coming months alongside an official reveal for the game. If we were asked who we’d like added, we would choose Fred Flintstone, Johnny Bravo, Grizz from We Bare Bears, Samurai Jack and of course, Michael Jordan from Space Jam.

When we know more about Warner Bros. Multiversus, we’ll let you know. Until then, let us know who you’d like to see show up in the fighter in the comments section below.
