Wartales Release date announced

Wartales has been in development for some time now by Shiro Games, a diminutive yet skilled indie development studio. The trailer got people excited for the medieval mercenary strategy game is soon to be available for early access on steam. The fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the Wartales release date, and we finally have confirmation.
The game is an open-world RPG that puts the player in command of a group of wandering mercenaries, gameplay info so far is somewhat slim but the trailer shows some rich environments and an art style which seems like it will be perhaps the first game about strategically killing people and collecting bounties in search of wealth that might actually be relaxing. It certainly has us intrigued.
The trailer also shows off some intense-looking dungeons, castles, and panoramic vistas which look like a lot of fun to murder your way through. The lighting effects in the darker areas look particularly atmospheric, which compliments the somewhat painterly visual aesthetic that has got so many gamers eager and excited to have a go, us included.
When can I play Wartales: Early Access?
The Wartales release date for early access is December 1, 2021. If you get your hands on it the developers will use player feedback to guide the game’s ongoing development saying ‘our goal is to make Wartales the best game it can possibly be, and working alongside our wonderful community in Early Access is the most sure fire way to go about that!’ (As quoted from the Steam page developers’ section).
The price is not yet known but it will probably follow the usual early access protocol and cost relatively little, with an increase upon full release. If this announcement has tempted you to embark on a middle ages romp through wildernesses, castles, and caverns, you can currently play a free demo on steam to see if it’s worth your hard-earned cash.
